Action flick Irumbu Kuthirai is based on a fresh subject. Directed by Yuvaraj Bose and produced by AGS Entertainment, the movie is based on bike racing-a theme which was never explored before. Hence, the movie managed to grab the eye balls of movie-buffs with its trailer and created much hype even before its release. We also hear that audiences are supposed to get a dose of ‘Fast and Furious’ in the movie.

Talking about the action-flick, Atharvaa says, "This film is about two groups of bikers who compete with each other. Initially, I play a pizza delivery boy in this film, which is set in the Pondicherry and Mahe regions. However, we also shot extensively in Italy for the film, which is a classy commercial entertainer."

Based on a true incident, the film is said to feature action-packed bike racing sequences. According to the grapevine, lead actor Atharvaa underwent special training to gain that excellence.

The actor confirms, "A team of around 15 professionals from Italy trained me. Whenever I had the time, I would train there with them, in fact, I did that even between shots. We started training with smaller bikes and then moved on to the superbikes. I'd ridden a superbike before, but had not handled it in a professional manner. Handling it requires a lot of concentration. One needs to be really careful, and I did just that. For a certain sequence, I had to ride the superbike at 180kmph and that too, without glasses. My eyes started watering when we hit 80kmph. Also, the weather there was freezing as we shot this sequence in Italy in November."

The actor is thankful to the producer for his devotion and dedication. "I need to thank my producer Aghoram sir, without whom this film wouldn't have come out so well. In fact, he is the one who came up with the superbike suggestions," he signs off.
