Boopathy Teams Up With Vimal

Director Boopathy Pandian, who delivered hit comedy entertainer ‘Thiruvilaiyadal Arrambam’ starring Dhanush, is back after a long gap. According to the reports, the director has roped in Desingu Raja actor Vimal for his next. He narrated the script to Vimal recently, and the actor agreed to give it a shot.

A source close to the unit confirmed the news saying, "The film will be a commercial entertainer, on the lines with Boopathy Pandian's earlier films. The comedy element in this film will be an interesting one, and that's why the makers have decided to rope in Vimal for the film. The other cast, including the female lead is yet to be finalised."

The film is expected to go on floors soon, as the actor has recently wrapped up the shooting of ‘Mappillai Singam’.  Boopathy, who is credited for writing some of the fantastic comedy like Sundar. C directorial ‘Winner’, has been inactive for a long time. It will be interesting to see whether he is able to recreate the magic this time.
