Brindavanam Is Nothing Like Mozhi, Says Radha Mohan

Brindavanam Is Nothing Like Mozhi, Says Radha Mohan

Director Radha Mohan garnered a lot of recognition with his film ‘Mozhi’ which released back in 2007. It was his third film and it certainly showed that Mohan has the potential for making an entertaining film. The flick was a love story where the lead actress, Jyothika, played a deaf girl and now, his upcoming flick titled ‘Brindavanam’ is being compared to it as its lead actor, Arulnithi, has a hearing-and-speech impairment.

Mohan says that the comparison should not be made because the two films are nothing alike. ‘Brindavanam’ is definitely not a sequel to ‘Mozhi’. “This is a completely different story and has got nothing to do with Mozhi. I did not even want to title it as Mozhi 2 because that would be misguiding my audience. This is more like how a director does two cop films that are unrelated to one another”, the director explained.

‘Brindavanam’ stars Arulnithi, Vivekh and Tanya and has been getting a lot of hype because of the director’s previous projects. Mohan also spoke about Arulnithi and said, “He has so far played rough-and-tough roles, but there is an innocence about him, and that has worked well for this role”. ‘Brindavanam’ is set to hit the screens on August 17.
