Deepika Padukone Not In Rajinikanth’s Next Film?

There have been several reports that suggested Deepika Padukone is being considered to be cast opposite superstar Rajinikanth in his next. However, this isn’t going to happen. Director Pa. Ranjith has denied these rumours.

He stated that Bollywood’s diva Deepika hasn’t been booked as the female lead for his next which will star Rajini as the male lead. The director responded a Twitter user on Friday evening, where he mentioned that the news about Deepika being a part of his next movie is false.

In fact, there were some reports a while ago that also stated Radhika Apte is being considered for the same role. She had worked with both Ranjith and Rajinikanth in last year's Tamil blockbuster 'Kabali', which released on July 22, 2016.

Much isn’t known about this upcoming film. All what has been divulged is that Dhanush will be bankrolling the project, which is touted to be a mystery based entertainer.
