Goundamani had a quiet birthday

Goundamani, the legendary comedy actor had a silent birthday this Monday. The Thangam actor is currently working on his upcoming flick, Goundamani Yin Enakku Veru Engum Kilaigal Kidaiyathu. He even refused to cut cake on the sets of the project.

"The entire team of the film is crazy about Goundamani sir and in fact, all of them have his popular dialogues as their ringtones and caller tunes. So, it was not surprising that they wanted to celebrate his birthday. But Goundamani sir politely told them that he doesn't believe in celebrating birthdays and asked them to get on with the shoot, which was going on in a bungalow on ECR. Later, once the shoot was done, he made a concession and obliged the team with photographs on the condition that they don't give him bouquets", said a source close to the development of the flick.

It seems the comedy actor who appears to be cheerful and fun-loving in reel life, is infact quiet and serious in real life. At last, he was grateful to click pictures with the team. The team members of the flick, helmed by Ganapathi Bala ((a former associate of Suseenthiran), happen to be huge fans of the actor as all of them had made ringtones of his famous dialogues.
