Director Rajesh has recently revealed that his upcoming film, ‘Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru’ starring G.V. Prakash will go on floors in March. The director, while in an interview with Indian Express stated, “We are planning to begin work from the second week of March. We will start shooting in Chennai and have planned schedules in different parts including portions in Kodaikanal, Goa and Vishakhapatnam. The film has two heroines. Avika Gor, who has made a name for herself in the Telugu film industry, has been finalised to play one heroine while we are yet to decide on the other”.

He further revealed that Nikki Galrani is in talks for a role in the flick. “We are looking to adjust dates because she has a couple of Telugu films that she is working on apart from some Tamil projects. We should be able to finalise the other heroine in a day or two”, he said.

About the speculations being rife that the movie is a horror-comedy, he said, “It is true that we were looking at the possibility of a horror-comedy. But when the script came out well, we dropped the ‘horror comedy’ idea, and decided to keep a twist in this rom-com. We’re excited with the way it has taken shape”.
