I Am Waiting For Right Role In Tamil Industry: Kalki

National award winning actress Kalki is in town. The actress who predominantly works in theatres and Bollywood flicks has expressed her willingness to work for Visaranai’s director Vetrimaaran. Making name for her with debut flick Dev. D, the actress still awaits her first Tamil movie.

On asked when the fans will see her in Tollywood, despite being born and brought up in Pondicherry, the actress said, over the years, there have been very few offers. Maybe I don't fit into the Tamil heroine look that most directors look for. It is not very easy to place me because of my physicality...I don't know”.

However, the actress added that she would love to do a Tamil Film and is in fact waiting for the right role. About her love for Tamil movies, the Shanghai actress said she loves Kaaka Muttai, which happens to be the last movie she watched. The actress has also heard about Vetrimaaran's Visaaranai and would soon like to watch it.
