I like to do films where I have scope to perform: Catherine Tresa On Kadamban

Kanithan actress Catherine Tresa will soon be seen in quite a polarizing role in her upcoming film 'Kadamban'. In 'Kanithan', the actress played an urban girl but in 'Kadamban', she will be playing a villager. Recently, the actress spoke about shooting for the latter and shared that it was a challenging experience.

“Shooting on such a terrain is obviously not a cakewalk! It was hard for the entire crew. Actors were not allowed to wear footwear since it was not required for our characters. It was strenuous to be walking barefoot amidst leeches. And for me, working on this project was a different experience altogether”, Catherine said. The actress also shared that she plays a tribal girl who is a strong and wonderful woman.

Talking about why she chose the role, Catherine revealed that she likes to do films where she has scope to perform. “The reason I acted in this film is because the role is a meaty one, and I like to do films where I have scope to perform. Generally, I look forward to doing different roles and I am game for challenges”, the actress added.

Catherine is also working on Telugu projects which include ‘Gautam Nandha’ and ‘Nene Raja Nene Manthiri’.
