Ike Talks About Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae

The upcoming flick ‘Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae’ is being directed by Ike and is going to be a laughter riot. The movie stars Jiiva and Sri Divya in the lead roles. The director recently spoke about the film and also shared his thoughts on comedy. The cast also includes Soori, Thambi Ramaiah, Raadhika Sarathkumar and Radha Ravi.

Talking about Soori’s character, Ike revealed, “I wanted to give Soori a makeover. So, we gave him an expensive, specially imported wig, which became a hit among the cast and crew. Even though it was somewhat tedious for him, Soori wore the wig throughout the shoot”. He also shared that at the start, he had planned a different role for the Vedalam actor but later, shifted things around.

Ike also spoke about comedy and the fact that it should not be forced. “I've learnt from Priyadarshan sir that comedy is part of the story and shouldn't look forced. I made sure that the comic scenes are organic in the movie”, shared the director. ‘Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae’ will hit the screens on May 19.
