‘Ivan Thanthiran’ Is About Life Of An Engineering Student

Director R Kannan’s next, ‘Ivan Thanthiran’, featuring Gautham Karthik and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles in all set to hit the silver screen on June 30, 2017. The movie revolves around the plight of engineering students with Gautham playing the role of an engineering student. The flick also features RJ Balaji in an important role.

The makers recently released a two-minute video of the film, where Balaji is seen delivering a lecture about the challenges that engineering students have to face, which has gone viral. About the dialogue, Kannan said,“It is the ultimate truth about most engineering students these days, and it was a fun dialogue which Balaji attempted to do in one take and he did a splendid job.”

“Normally, films about college life revolve around romance and friendship. But Ivan... talks about the story behind every engineering student’s life. It is entertaining and not preachy either,” said the director. Karthik plays a reverse engineer who makes duplicate electronics which are exact copy of the original.
