Janani Iyer signs her 2nd Malayalam film Koothara along with Bharath, Mohanlal

The bright young actress, Janani Iyer, who started her career with Tamil films, has recently bagged her second Malayalam project Koothara. The actress, who is said to be faring well in Malayalam films, will be pairing up with Mohanlal in the film. Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu actor Bharath will also feature in the lead.

As told by Janani, "I will be shooting for this film from next month in Calicut. I am excited to be a part of a Mohan Lal's film so soon in my career. It is a fantasy film in which I play the role of a college girl." The actress has recently wrapped up the shooting of Tamil feature Thegidi and is waiting to sign another Kollywood film very soon. She said, "I am trying to do a balancing act with both the industries. I am slowly picking up Malayalam and I will be able to speak well after the end of this shoot. The shoot of Mollywood films wrap up in quick span of time and it's easy for me to commit projects in Tamil films too."
