Jeeva Shankar’s Next To Bring Arya And Jiiva Together

Cinematographer-turned-director Jeeva Shankar shot to fame with his directorial debut ‘Naan’ (2012). According to recent reports, the filmmaker is prepping up for his next, which is touted to be a multi-starrer. The upcoming venture is said to feature actors Arya and Jiiva together.

The two Kollywood stars have earlier worked together in M. Rajesh’s romantic comedies ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’ (2009) and ‘Boss Engira Bhaskaran’ (2010). As a matter of an interesting fact, Arya did a cameo in the former one while Jiiva played a small part in the latter flick. Arya has also produced Shankar’s ‘Amara Kaaviyam’ in 2014.

If sources are to be believed, Lyca Productions might fund the project in the offing. The background score is likely to be contributed by music composer Ghibran. Sathish Suriya might handle the editing work. An official announcement on the upcoming venture is still awaited. Shankar has earlier worked for ‘Ammo Bomma’, ‘Kadhal Dot Com’, ‘Ananda Thandavam’, ‘Naan’, ‘Amara Kaaviyam’, ‘Amanush 2’ (Bengali remake of Naan) and ‘Yaman’.
