Jr. NTR To Star In ‘Nadigaiyar Thilagam’

Jr. NTR, who is a grandson of popular actor NT Rama Rao, has been approached to star in the upcoming movie ‘Nadigaiyar Thilagam’, which is based on the life of veteran actress Savitri. The actor will be playing the role of his grandfather in the film. The film which is directed by Nag Ashwin will be a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu.

A source said, “The film’s producer Swapna Dutt and NTR share a great bond and the former believes that NTR’s presence in the movie would elevate the project. Talks haven’t been initiated so far, but his inclusion in the movie will be finalised according to NTR’s shooting schedule”. The shooting of the flick is going on at Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad.

Actress Keerthy Suresh has been roped in to play the titular role of Savitri, while Dulquer Salmaan will be essaying the role of Gemini Ganesan. Apart from these actors, the movie will also feature Samantha, who will play a journalist. She will be paired opposite Pelli Choopulu actor, Vijay Deverakonda.
