Kalakalappu 2 Starts Rolling

Director Sundar C’s upcoming film Kalakalappu 2 has been in the news for a long time now. The movie is a sequel to the 2012 film Kalakalappu. And now we have heard that the team of this comedy drama has started shooting for the flick in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu.

While the first part featured Vimal, Shiva, Anjali, Oviya and Santhanam in lead roles, the sequel will have Jiiva, Jai, Mirchi Shiva, Nikki Galrani and Catherine Tresa in the lead roles. Shiva also posted his picture with Sundar C on his micro-blogging site. He wrote "Kalakalapu 2 first day shoot...Need everybodys wishes @khushsundar (sic)."

While Vijay Ebenezer scored the music for the first part, the second part will have music composed by Hip Hop Tamizha. Sundar’s actress wife Kushboo, who produced the first part, will produce the sequel too. After wrapping up Kalakalappu 2, Sundar will start working on his dream project Sangamithra starring Jayam Ravi, Arya and Disha Patani .
