Kamal Haasan wants daughter Shruti to be a writer

She’s an actor, a dancer, a singer and now she’s perhaps on the route to something more that her dad wants her to be. We’re talking about Shruti Haasan and her dad Kamal Haasan. Apparently what her dad gifted on her birthday was a writing software and a writing course. According to Kamal, his daughter has that quality within to be a great writer.

"I have been writing short stories, lyrics, and poems ever since I was fifteen-years-old. However, very few people have read my work so far. It's only now that I've decided to reveal portions of my writing. I want to get into writing for short films, Most of the stuff I have written so far is about stuff which isn't there in my life. Like love,” said Shruti. Talking about her dad Shruti told how she has been following him. "Everyone knows that my father is a big movie buff and he keeps telling me to watch several foreign films, and TV shows. I've been following his advice without fail," she added.
