Kaththi wins another legal battle

Tamil action thriller Kaththi seems to be in a much-hyped debate since its launch.  Vijay-Samantha starrer Kaththi was earlier facing controversy due to the alleged link of its producer, Lyca Productions, with the Sri Lankan government. After a lot of protests and arguments, the controversy got brushed away and audience were expecting the movie to release amidst Diwali celebration. But, team Kaththi had to face a legal trouble again, after an advocate recently filed a fresh petition seeking a ban on the film.

The court however, dismissed the lawsuit, which asked for an immediate ban of Kaththi stating that the film has already been censored. The judge further elaborated that such cases cannot be entertained after a film is certified by an expert authority like the Censor Board. Meanwhile, Kaththi's post-production is almost complete with the compilation of the film’s background score. Music director Anirudh tweeted, "Successfully completed the #bgm background score of #Kaththi now, a day before my birthday :) Diwali pattaasu ready!"
