Bobby Simha is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming venture ‘Ko 2’. The film will hit the theatre screens on May 13, a few days before the state elections in Tamil Nadu. The film is touted to be a political-thriller but is not targeted towards any political party or any particular politician.

During an interview with a leading daily, the director of the flick, Sarath shared that the film is about the problems that a common man faces in day-today life. He said, “I’ve shown no inclination towards any party or individual in the film. It’s about how a common man reacts to problems that haunt him on a day-to-day basis”.

He added that though the story revolves around a common man, he has given equal weightage to the role of the Chief Minister. Prakash Raj will be seen playing the role of the Chief Minister in the film, while Nikki Galrani will be seen as the female lead. It is based on Telugu political thriller ‘Pratinidhi’ and has music by Leon James.
