Kollywood leans its energy out to join support for Jayalalithaa

The support for ex Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa seems to be getting larger and stronger which has outsized the sympathy spawned by any political leader. The cinematic fraternity came all out in support to favour protest against Jayalalithaa’s arrest. In fact, major associations of the Tamil film industry came together to show their support for their leader.

The Tamil Nadu Film Producers Council, Actors Association, PRO Union, Small Screen Association earlier gathered at Chepauk and cancelled the entire film shoot in the state to declare their assistance. The association had almost every industry name present, which reflects quite a stir of an idea about a colossal figure like Jayalaitha in the state. The members in prominent attendance at the scene were Vikram, Karthi, Vemal, Soori, Manobala, Sarathkumar, P Vasu, Srikanth, Ajay Rathnam, Kalaipuli G Sekaran & S Thanu, SA Chandrasekar, K Bhagyaraj, Mansoor Ali Khan, Chitra Lakshmanan, Vikraman, Ibrahim Ravuthar, JK Ritheesh, Musicians Praveen Mani, Deva and Sankar Ganesh, K.T.Kunjumon, Actors Saravanan, Gundu Kalyanam, Producer T Siva, Ramesh Kanna, Ramarajan, Thiyagarajan, KR, Snehan and many others.
