Lakshmi Menon To Replace Tamannaah Bhatia In Jiiva’s ‘Gemini Ganesan’

It is known that Jiiva will be joining hands with debut director Muthukumar after wrapping up Ramkumar Rayappa’s 'Pokkiri Raja'. The film has been titled and earlier it was reported that Tamannaah Bhatia will be playing the female lead in the movie. Now, another actress has been linked with the female lead role.

According to reports, the team has approached Lakshmi Menon to play the female lead in the flick. Her last outing ‘Vedalam’ has created records at the box office. Currently, she is busy shooting for her upcoming film with director Shakti Soundar Rajan ‘Miruthan’.

However, the reports have not been confirmed and there are chances that Tamannaah may play the leading lady. Puli producer P.T. Selvakumar will be bankrolling the venture. Reports suggest that the project will go on floors in December. Few weeks back he makers of ‘Gemini Ganesan’ have got no objection certificate from Gemini Ganesan’s family and finally registered the title at the Film Chamber.
