According to the sources, “Meena’s daughter Baby Nainika made her acting debut with Thalapathy Vijay in ‘Theri’ and is currently playing a pivotal role with Arvind Swamy and Amala Paul in ‘Bhaskar Oru Rascal’directed by Siddique.” The diva also shared that the director Siddique originally wanted her to star opposite Vijay in ‘Friends’ but missed out due to date issues.

One of the most sought-after leading ladies in the South during the late 80s and 90s also mentioned that her daughter has acted with Vijay and has worked with Siddique. She also added that baby Nainika has sort of fulfilled her dream. Meena’s longtime dream has come to life finally. Much like her mother, baby Nainika starts her career as a child actress.
