M.S. Subbulakshmi biopic lands in serious trouble?

The original producers, who received the written approval and rights to film a biopic on MS, ruled against any kind of directorial venture by Rajiv Menon. Dr. Somaprasad, who has got a 90-day stay order, said, "We had purchased the rights to TJS George's book on the late singer and have the consent of the late singer's daughter to make this film. Rajiv was supposed to direct our film. When we learnt that he had announced a different project along the same lines, we were shocked. We will fight for what is rightfully ours as it was my idea to make this biopic and showcase the life of one of our most legendary singers." Though, Rajiv when contacted refused to comment.
