My Character Is Different From Neelambari's: Trisha

Trisha fans are quite excited for her political thriller Kodi. The chief reason being it will be her first movie where she plays antagonist. Dhanush plays male lead actor in the flick and the Diwali release certainly gives the boost to the movie’s box office collection.

Many even started comparing Trisha’s character with Neelambari character role in Padayappa efficiently played by  Ramya Krishnan. However, Trisha said that her own films have traces of her Kodi character. “I request to avoid comparisons. ’Padayappa' is a commercial mass film. This is a very raw and real film. Generally political dramas will be relatively realistic. It will be rural and raw. I should not use my hands to convey anything through gestures”, said the actress.

Talking about her role in Kodi, she revealed, “Same goes with Rudra of 'Kodi'. It is a very strong and powerful character. Not a girl next door or innocent. Highly ambitious. One who would doesn't mind committing wrong for coming up in life”. Trisha said that the role was not easy to relate to and it was challenge playing the character.
