The popular Tollywood actor, Akkineni Nagarjuna, has denied the rumors doing rounds about him being starting a new channel. Gossip mongers were abuzz that the actor-producer is launching a new TV channel called Manam along with Prasad V. Potluri (PVP). Clearing the air, Nagarjuna tweeted on the micro-blogging site, “There are rumours that Iam starting a TV entertainment channel called Manam/ ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE!! Fyi:)”.

The rumor started floating after the Ninne Pelladatha star sold MAA TV to Star India recently. The ace actor was earlier associated with the MAA network, which he had founded along with actor Chiranjeevi and entrepreneur Nimmagadda Prasad. According to market experts, Star India will not allow any of the share holders of MAA to start another entertainment channel for some years.

Nagarjuna is currently working on Soggade Chinni Nayanaa, which the actor is co-producing with Ram Mohan P. With Ramya Krishnan and Lavanya Tripathi as female leads, the actor is playing a double role in the flick. The National Film Award winner will also be seen in a bi-lingual project with Tamil star Karthi.
