Nanban producer Ravi Shankar Prasad missing since last 2 days

The talented producer of films like Shankar Dada MBBS, Mayakkam Enna and Nanban, Ravi Shankar Prasad could not be located since July 8. He was last seen leaving for a morning stroll on Monday, as informed by hotel Anand Regency’s officials.

An official said, "He had come to visit the hotel and was staying in his usual suite. On Monday (July 8) early morning, he left for jogging and never returned. Since he didn't return after several hours, we reached him on his mobile phone, but it was switched off.”

The hotel official added, "We waited till evening and contacted his family in Chennai and found out that he didn't get in touch with them either. We lodged a police complaint yesterday (Monday) night. Police have taken over the case and are investigating.” Ravi Shankar is the managing director of Gemini Film Circuit, one of the leading production and distribution companies in the South. He is also the chairman of Regency Group of chain hotels.
