Narayan Lucky: ‘It is essential for me to do mainstream films’

Narayan Lucky seems to be in full swing as he has many projects lined up in his kitty. The actor debuted in Kollywood with K.V.Guhan’s romantic film, Inidhu Inidhu. He has made a name and space for himself in the industry by delivering applaudable performances in the projects like Charles Shafiq Karthiga (CSK) and Thiranthidu Seese. But the actor wishes to be a part of mainstream films now.

The Gaganam actor said, “Both CSK and Thiranthidu Seese got me positive feedback, but these films were seen by a niche audience. But it is essential for me to do mainstream films so that I can reach a wider audience and that is what I'm planning to do henceforth”. Some of his upcoming projects include Radha Mohan’s Uppu Karuvadu and N. Kalyanakrishnan’s Bhooloham.

Uppu Karuvadu is a “homecoming” film for him as it is his another project with the director after Payanam. While talking about his character in the Uppu Karuvadu, he said, “I play a new-gen assistant director, who has a modern outlook and uses the latest gadgets”. Apart from these films, the actor has also signed Arikil Oraal, in which he will play the lead role.
