Debutante Nivedhithaa Sathish is all set to enter Kollywood with Magalir Mattum directed by Bramma. Though her first Tamil film is directed by a renowned director, but Nivedhithaa seems to remain calm and clear about what she wants to make out of movies. She is excited about the release of her debut flick, which is all set to hit the theatres on September 15.

In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, Sathish said, “I’ve been dancing since my fifth grade and I developed a passion for acting when I was in my teens. However, my parents were determined that I should complete schooling and then pursue my interests. After I finished my 12th grade, I was looking out for opportunities and that’s when I auditioned for Magalir Mattum.”

She will play the role of Saranya Ponvannan’s younger version. “We were given rehearsals for a month and I met Jyothika, Saranya Ponvannan, Urvashi and Bhanupriya mam then. We grew close and I was the pet kid! I have no regrets about not going to an acting school. Bramma sir was the best and he taught me all the nuances,” she added.

She is currently shooting for a Telugu film titled Hello, which is helmed by Vikram Kumar of 24 fame and has Akhil Akkineni as the male lead.
