Nivin Pauly To Play A Professional Rowdy In Richie

After stealing heart of Malayalam audiences with Premam, actor Nivin Pauly is all set to allure Kollywood audience with his forthcoming movie Richie. Richie will mark Nivin’s Kollywood debut. The movie is a remake of Kannada thriller Ulidavaru Kandanthe, which hit the screens in 2014.

The makers of the movie recently released the teaser of the movie which has just blown up the internet. The teaser has crossed more than 4 million views on YouTube in less than 24 hours. In teaser Nivin says, “In this world there are engineers and doctors. Like that I’m a rowdy… a professional rowdy.” Navin will be seen playing the titular character who is local rowdy.

The story of the film revolves female journalist whose goal is to unearth the truth behind an incident. The movie will show an anthology of 5 stories connected to a person’s murder with each character narrates from his or her own perspectives. Shraddha Srinathn will be playing the female lead. Apart from Nivin and Shraddha, cinematographer turned actor Natty (Natarajan Subramanian) and Lakshmi Priyaa will be seen in pivotal roles.
