Paayum Puli Release Suspended

    Paayum Puli Release Suspended

The Tamil Film Producers' Council (TFPC) has stated that no films will be allowed to release from September 4. This announcement has indefinitely suspended the release of Suseenthiran’s Paayum Puli. This move by the council was in retaliation of the problems created by Rohini theater's owner Mr. Panneerselvam and his team.

Mr. Panneerselvam has reportedly asked for a huge sum of money from the producers of Paayum Puli. He and his group have put up several obstacles to stop the release of the much anticipated film. The TFPC has now announced that no new Tamil films or films in any other language will be released from September 4. They also added that from September 11, the movies that are currently running in theaters across the state will be ceased as well.

The fans and the general audience hope that this issue will be sorted out soon and that the Tamil Nadu government will take the necessary action as soon as possible. Paayum Puli was set for a release on September 4 and stars Vishal Krishna, Kajal Aggarwal, Samuthirakani, Soori and Harish Uthaman. The movie is produced by Vendhar Movies, the studio that is being harassed by the Rohini theater’s owner.
