Prabhudheva’s Assistant To Direct Film On Social Media Menace

Shakthi Vasantha Prabhu, who was an assistant of versatile personality Prabhudheva, has turned an independent director. He is all set to direct his debut movie Yaen Indha Mayakkam. Della Raj (rechristened as Raksha Raj), Swarna of Maanada Mayilaada fame and Krishna have been cast as main leads in the film.

When asked about the film, Shakthi said, “It is a suspense thriller. A modern-day student cannot really live without a smartphone. The film talks about a bunch of college students, who indulge in undesirable activities through their social media accounts, and the repercussions become irreparable. How they come out of their dilemma forms the rest.”

He further stated that parents will become more aware about their children after watching the film. The movie also shows how anti-social elements misuse the advent of technology for their gain. Shakthi has even insisted parents to watch the movie in order to stay alert about the use of social media by their children and their whereabouts.
