Pradeep Krishnamurthy Confident About Positive Response Of Sathya

Director Pradeep Krishnamurthy’s film Sathya is releasing today. When most of the filmmakers are nervous when their films release, Pradeep is confident that the movie will impress both the audience as well as the critics. The crime thriller stars Sibi Sathyaraj, Ramya Nambeesan and Varalaxmi.

"Audiences are evolving and they want to watch movies that go beyond exploring the usual themes. Viewers will be drawn in to the story of Sathya immediately — more than tracing the whereabouts of a missing child, there's a huge confusion about the child's existence. The audience will know the plot only towards the end,” said the director.

Sibi will be playing the role of an NRI in the film. This is the first time that the actor will be essaying the role of an NRI. "Pradeep wanted to change everything about me, and we have worked really hard on my character,” revealed Sibi.  Talking more about the movie, the director said, "There should be no loopholes in the script of thrillers, and we've ensured that it's the case in Sathya. The film is an official remake of the Telugu hit, Kshanam, and we have retained the essence of the film to give the Tamil audience a newer experience."
