Prakash Raj In Savitiri’s Biopic

Filmmaker Nag Ashwin is back on the sets with his upcoming flick ‘Nadigaiyar Thilagam’. The flick is a biopic of a legendary South actress Savitiri. The latest in the flick is that actor Prakash Raj will also join the cast of the flick and will increase its star power.   

The flick, that already stars Keerthy Suresh, Samantha and Dulquer Salmaan, will see Prakash Raj playing the role of the popular producer Alur Chakrapani. As per a source, “It is confirmed that Prakash Raj sir is playing the role. The shoot is ongoing in Hyderabad and he has joined the team”.

Prakash Raj’s character made an impact on the Tollywood industry for his association with one of the renowned production houses, Vijaya Vauhini Studios. In the flick, actress Keerthy Suresh will play yesteryear actress Savitri, whereas Samantha will portray the role of a journalist. Actor Vijay Devarakonda will be seen playing love interest of Samantha and Dulquer Salmaan as Shivaji Ganeshan.
