Prakash Raj might play Boman’s character in Jolly LLB remake

The earlier reports were that I. Ahmed will helm the film, which is a Tamil remake of Arshad Warsi starrer Jolly LLB. Udhayanidhi Stalin had also confirmed to play the lead in the project. The latest is that the ace actor Prakash Raj could also be roped in to play Boman Irani’s character.

“Prakash Raj has been approached for the film. Though his role has not been finalized, most probably he may play Boman's character from the original... Right now, only Udhayanidhi and Prakash Raj, who will be seen in the role of lawyers, have been confirmed for the project”, a source revealed.

Ahmed is currently working on the script and the other cast, like the female lead, will be decided soon. The source added, "Udhay wanted to work on a film that was a little serious and different from his earlier rom coms and that's why he chose Jolly LLB script over Idhayam Murali, the project which he had announced with the director earlier". Jolly LLB is a 2013 Bollywood courtroom comedy drama film, written and directed by Subhash Kapoor.
