Rajinkanth-Pa. Ranjith's 'Kaala Karikaalan' To Star Anjali Patil

Filmmaker Pa. Ranjith’s upcoming Kollywood film ‘Kaala Karikaalan’ will feature superstar Rajinkanth in the lead role, and Huma Qureshi and P. Samuthirakani in other significant roles. Bankrolled by Dhanush, the movie will revolve around the life of a Mumbai-based don Karikalan, played by the Kabali actor. According to recent reports, the flick will also feature international film and theatre actress Anjali Patil in a pivotal role.
 

Anjali took to Twitter to confirm the news. The actress tweeted, “Next film for this year. With THE ONE AND ONLY. Thalaiva. Produced by @dhanushkraja Directed by @beemji”. This will be the first time when Anjali will foray into the Kollywood film industry.
 

The talented actress made her Tollywood debut with ‘Prathyayam’ in 2012. She was bestowed with the National Film Award – Special Mention for 2013 Telugu film ‘Naa Bangaaru Talli’. We wish her all the best as she gears up to star alongside Rajinkanth.
