Rakul Preet Singh Talks About Shooting At Dracula Castle For Spyder

Actress Rakul Preet Singh is gearing up for her next film Spyder which stars Mahesh Babu in the lead. The team recently shot for a song in beautiful locales of Romania. And do you know that apart from being captivated by the splendid beauty of the country, there is one thing that the actress will never forget about.

Can you guess what is it? Well, that is Dracula’s castle. Yes, while visiting several places, she came across a castle where Dracula was believed to be born.

"This was my first time in Romania and we shot in Sibiu (a major city in Transylvania, which has come to be associated with vampires, thanks to the novel Dracula) for six days. You can find legends and stories associated with Count Dracula in every nook and corner and it was quite scary initially. The architecture is very old-world; the bricks keep falling off and paint keeps peeling off, but there's a charm to even that."

She added, "There's a castle that's an hour-and-a-half's drive away from Sibiu; it's believed to be the birthplace of Dracula. It's apparently from there the whole tale started. We shot at the castle for about two days, but I didn't get a chance to go inside and explore the place."

Directed by AR Murugadoss, the movie is a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu.
