    The much-awaited marriage of Telugu star Ram Charan Teja, son of megastar Chiranjeevi and heiress of Apollo hospitals Upasana Kamineni, which happened this morning at Temple Trees, Moinabad, was a star-studded affair and truly the wedding of the year. From both Bollywood and South Indian film industry biggies like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajnikanth and Kamal Hassan to political personalities like Sonia Gandhi are among the 4,000 guests who came to bless the bride and groom. The rest of the guests will also be arriving soon in the city to attend the reception being held by papa Chiranjeevi at Hyderabad International Convention Center this evening. Teja and Upasna, the granddaughter of founder-chairman of Apollo Hospitals Prathap C Reddy, are childhood friends and they got engaged in December last year. They will again tie the nuptial knot tomorrow for fans, which will be followed by a lunch. Unlike other celebrity marriages, the couple has not exported artisans or decorative materials from abroad and hired only desi artists for preparing the stage and the mandap. Both the bride and the groom have requested the guests not to bring gifts, saying they just want their blessings. A source had revealed, The wedding is not just for the couple but for the entire state and its people. Both of them have been involved in charity and will be undertaking several activities to help the needy.
