Read On to Find Out Which National Winning Actor Has Been Approached For 'Thalaivar 161'

Pa Ranjith is doing his very bit to make sure that his next titled, 'Thalaivar 161', with Rajinikanth leaves an impression. The director is roping several acclaimed people from the industry to make his film super successful. Earlier, we heard that he has roped in technician Peter Drapper for VFX who has also did for 'Baahubali 2'.

Later we came to know that the makers have signed in Bollywood diva Huma Qureshi to play the female lead. And now a source has revealed that the makers have approached a National award winning actor to join the star cast of the film. The source disclosed that Samuthirakani who has become popular in south for playing supporting roles has been roped in to play a supporting role in the movie.

The actor won a National Award for his marvellous performance in 'Visaranai'. This is the first time that Samuthirakani is working with Rajini and Ranjith. However, the makers have not confirmed about the same. The flick will go on floors from May 28, 2017. Thalaivar’s son-in-law Dhanush will bankroll the film under his Wunderbar Films banner. The music of the movie has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
