Release Of Vivegam Starring Ajith Pushed

There had been a lot of rumours surrounding the first-look poster of director Siva’s Vivegam film, featuring Ajith, Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan. There were assertions that Ajith’s carved body in the poster was photoshopped. However, director Siva took a stance and said that ‘Thala’ slogged to get into shape, and get the appealing look!

The film was supposed to release on the Ramzan weekend but now it looks like, it’s release has been pushed. As per sources, “As of now, the makers are considering August 10 or August 24 for a grand release. Since the Sivakarthikeyan–Nayanthara starrer Velaikkaran is releasing on August 25, Vivegam team might consider releasing on August 10. Also, it all depends on the completion of post-production work.”

The film is on the verge of wrapping up its shoot. The last slot of the film will be shot in Bulgaria in the second week of March. The makers are thus thinking of paying more heed to the post-production. Fans get ready; the second poster and teaser of Vivegam will be released soon. Ajith is essaying the role of an investigative officer while Kajal is playing his wife.
