Romancing Sonakshi and Anushka was tougher than performing a dangerous stunt, says Rajinikanth

Superstar Rajinikanth doesn’t find everything too comfortable after all. The actor who’s Lingaa is up for release this Friday, told that romancing and singing duets with actresses half his age was much tougher than performing any  hard-hitting stunt. The superstar told this on Monday.

“The worst punishment god can give actors like me who are in their 60s is to sing duets. I found shooting duets with Sonakshi more challenging than doing stunts atop a moving train in the film,” Rajinikanth said. He told that actresses like Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty are half his age and that the former has grown up with his own daughter. The superstar continued to tell that it was an instance of huge amount of nervousness for him for having to romance these ladies. “Even in my first film, I didn’t feel so nervous as much as I did when I had to romance her. I’ve known Sonakshi as a baby, and she has grown up together with my daughters,” he added.

The most humble and down to earth Rajinikanth is known for his honesty and humility. The actor has been true and doesn’t shy away from revealing any of his feelings whatsoever. Now what may be considered an event of huge anticipation for Tamil Cinema, K. S. Ravi Kumar directed Lingaa will hit the screens this Friday.
