Sarath Kumar To Play A Cop Once Again In Rendavathu Aatam
Sarath Kumar has been roped in by debutant director Prithvi Aditya to play a cop in Rendavathu Aatam. However, this is not the first time that the actor will be essaying a role of a cop. He has played it in several movies like Chennaiyil Oru Naal, Acham Thavir, Nimirnthu Nil or Velachery. But it has been believed that his role in Rendavathu Aatam as a cop will be different than what he has portrayed in his earlier films.
"The story revolves around what happens during a night show in a theatre. Sarath sir plays a police officer but the role is very unusual. He plays a cop, who everyone would be able to relate to. He won't be someone with super powers but would deal with issues differently and work within limitations," says Prithvi.
He adds, "When I was thinking about who would be apt for the film, a lot of my friends came up with Sarath sir's name. I also felt the same and went ahead and narrated the story to him. He liked the script but suggested a few changes. Now, we are all set to start the shooting from mid-June." However, the director has only finalised Sarath as of now. He is yet rope in other cast.
