Sarathkumar Ramanathan has just turned 60!

Kollywood superstar Sarathkumar Ramanathan celebrated his 60th birthday on July 14. Apart from being an actor, Sarathkumar is also a successful writer, journalist, director, producer and a politician. The multi-talented actor is also a former body builder and is currently designated as the President of the South Indian Film Artistes' Association. He is also the present Member of Legislative Assembly of Tenkasi constituency.

Sarathkumar made his entry into the industry as a villain in a Telugu movie Samajamlo Sthree (1986), but the versatile actor showing his full repertoire experimented with his roles to eventually become the heartthrob of Kollywood. Sarathkumar can speak Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi as well as English and has appeared in more than 130 films in different languages. The handsome hunk has been appreciated for his marvellous performance in films like Nattamai, Suryavamsam, Suriyan and Pazhassi Raja. Currently, the actor is busy with the shooting of Sandamarutham directed by A. Venkatesh. Sarathkumar is married to one of Kollywood’s most celebrated actress, Radhika. She did not miss the chance to wish the actor on a social networking site. "Wishing only the best to my wonderful life partner a Happy Bday and all the wonderful things in life," tweeted Radhika.
