SECRET REVEALED: Dhanush to essay the role of a tailor in Balaji Mohan's Maari

Actor Dhanush who is currently basking in success of Velai Illa Pattadhari is all set to portray the role of a tailor in his next film.  Though, the cast and crew chose to remain quiet about the movie, Dhanush’s character in Balaji Mohan's Maari has finally been revealed. Kollywood grapevine is also abuzz that lead actress Kajal Aggarwal will essay the role of a thread-seller.

"The title of the film is Maari and yes, that is the name of Dhanush's character in my film, “the film maker had earlier said.

Produced by Sarath Kumar and Radikaa's Magic Frames, Maari will apparently be Dhanush’s 27^th film. The first look poster and title of the film was revealed earlier this month, which showcases a ‘cool’ Dhanush flaunting a pair of coolers. The film has been described as ‘a wholesome entertainer’ by the makers.
