Sequel of Naaigal Jakkirathai on cards

Sibiraj starrer Naaigal Jakkirathai fared well at the box-office. The comedy thriller directed by Soundar Rajan also featured aBelgian Shepherd dog named Idoh in the lead role. Movie-buffs seemed to like the concept as the film gave importance to Idoh and proved to be a genuine dog movie and now Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that the pair would be back to entertain the audience soon.

Confirming the same, Sibiraj says, "The sequel is definitely on the cards, but it will not be my next project. It will happen sometime in the end of 2015.”

He further adds, "There is a lot of demand in Hindi, Telugu and Kannada. There should be a confirmation followed by an official announcement soon.”

The film was produced by Sibiraj's father Sathyaraj under the banner Nathambal Film Factory. It was released in November 21 and received positive reviews from critics as well.
