Shankar’s 'I' wrapped amid much hype

The shooting of romantic action thriller film 'I' featuringVikram and Amy Jackson in the lead roles, has finally been wrapped up after more than two years. Marking the occasion, a grand party was organised for the entire cast and crew at Hyatt hotel, Chennai. The party was reportedly arranged by producer Venu Ravichandran.

Filmmaker Shankar was seen cutting a big cake along with his cast and crew. Amy Jackson took to the micro-blogging site to express her happiness. "2 and a half years later.. And it's a WRAP!!!! #I," she tweeted.

Popular musicianAR Rahman has composed songs for the movie and the audio was recently launched amidst much hype. The impressive event was attended by Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film produced by Aascar films and cinematographed by P.C. Sreeram, is slated to release this Diwali.
