Simbu Opens About Not Doing Mani Ratnam Film

There were rumours that actor Simbu aka STR has been given a red card so he cannot work with Mani Ratnam in his films. However, during an audio launch of Sakka Podu Podu Raja, the actor squashed all the rumours of him not working with the filmmaker. Simbu is making his debut as a music director with Sakka Podu Podu Raja.

Talking about it, Simbu said, "People are telling that I am not acting in Mani Ratnam sir's film but I was last told I am part of the film. Even after all these allegations on me, Mani sir is ready to make a film with me. I don't know why? maybe he is also a fan of me like my fans.”

He added, “I will begin shooting for Mani sir's film on January 20 and I will complete my commitments for the film in 3 months flat. No one can stop me from doing that film." The audio launch of Sakka Podu Podu Raja took place yesterday in Chennai and saw presence of many celebrities including Dhanush , Yuvan Shankar Raja, VTV Ganesh, Rajesh and Harish Kalyan among others. The film which is directed by Sethuraman stars Santhanam, Vaibhavi Shandilya and Vivek in the lead roles.
