Jacqueline Fernandes To Do An Item Number In Special 26 Remake

Thiagarajan after buying the rights of the 2013 Hindi film Special 26 is planning to remake the film in four languages. The Tamil remake of the film will feature Thiagarajan’s son Prashanth in the lead. The makers are yet to finalize the leading lady of the family.

Sources claim that seasoned actors like Sathyaraj, Prakash Raj, Nasser and Thambi Ramaiah have been roped in for important supporting roles in the film, titled Irupathiyaaru. 4th South Indian International Movie Award winner, singer-composer Anirudh Ravichander will compose music for the film.

The 70-year-old actor, director and producer of Tamil films said, “Sathyaraj will be playing Anupam Kher's role (an accomplice of the hero, who is a fraudster) in the original, while Prakash Raj will be seen playing the Manoj Bajpayee character (a CBI officer who is trying to nab the hero).”

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandes will also be roped in for an item number in the film and actresses Simran and Devayani will make guest appearances.
