Sri Divya Was Scared Of Ghosts Before Working In Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae

Sri Divya is usually known for playing girl-next-door characters in most of her movies. However, the actress has now been roped to play a female lead in an upcoming Tamil horror comedy film, Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae. The actress will play a homely character. The movie is directed by debutant Ike and produced by Fox Star Studios and Atlee under his own production house A for Apple Productions.

Talking about her role in the film, Divya says, "It is an intense role and my character, Shweta is a strong woman. I liked the way the director narrated the script to me. I have not played this kind of role so far."  She added that she opts for a movie only after thoroughly reading the script.

The actress has an interesting thing to share with us. Prior working on this film, she used to be scared of watching horror films and would never watch them. However, working in the movie made her stronger. The 29-year-old actress will star opposite Jiiva in the flick. The actress said that she was in ‘awe’ of him. Being a senior actor, he helped her performing certain scenes on which she had a doubt.  She will also perform some stunt sequence.
