Sshivada To Play An Intense Role In Iravaakaalam

Not all the actresses are lucky enough to get a good role in Kollywood. However, actress Sshivada is not amongst those actresses. From Nendunchaalai to Adhe Kangal, all the roles that she has portrayed in her films have given her an opportunity to show off her acting skills.

When asked from her how she manages to get good scripts, she said, “It is not like I keep hearing only nice scripts. I do get some bad ones, but I choose them only if I am interested in a story. I am lucky since the ones that I choose turn out really good.”

The 31-year-old is currently busy shooting for Iravaakaalam which is touted to be a thriller and revolves around three characters played by SJ Suryah, Sshivada and Wamiqa Gabbi. The actress is thankful to the director of the film Ashwin Saravanan for selecting her to play the character which she believes it to be a mature one. When asked about her experience of working with SJ Suryah, she said, “I have grown up watching films he directed. Kushi is one of my favourite movies.  I met him for the first time on the sets of the film. He is a versatile actor. When your co-actor is full of energy and performs great, his/her energy transfers to you as well. That’s what has happened to me during the shoot.”
