Stars of 80s to have a gala time at Evergreen 80s

A private event named Evergreen 80s, which is organised for the stars of 80s, will see all the top actors, producers and directors from all the four south industries participating. New stars will pay tribute to them by performing on stage and the yesteryear celebrities will sit back and enjoy the show. The colourful event has apparently been organised by Rayane, daughter of actress-producer Radikaa.

Talking about it, Rayane says, "The show is a tribute to all the producers, directors and actors of the 80s. There will be music, dance and drama along with performances by today's stars." Besides the well known faces of 80s from all the south industries, celebrities like Simbu, Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar, Vedhicka, Mahat, Vaibhav and Neetu Chandra will show their scintillating performance.

"Simbu is doing a tribute to Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, Neetu will do for Srirpiya, Bindhu Madhavi for Silk, and Namitha for other glamour dolls of the 80s. Actress Madhubala will also be performing a dance sequence for the first time. Meanwhile, Kovai Sarala and Mano Bala will be staging a scripted drama." The 80s stars will also show their performance at the end of the event.

The event will also pay tribute to late filmmaker K. Balachander. "He's been the godfather for many of these stars. We will be having an audio visual on what all he did for cinema and anecdotes will be shared by the stars."
