Sundeep’s Maanagaram Roars At The Box Office

Actor Sundeep Kishan, who assisted Gautham Menon in Varanam Aayiram, later bagged some quality Tamil and Telugu projects. His recently-released film Maanagaram, has scored colossal Tamil box office debut. Produced by CV Kumar, Maayavan is an investigative thriller which features Sundeep aka Kumaran as a cop.

Sundeep, who is basking the glory of Maanagaram, reveals that he is overwhelmed with the kind of response the film is raking. Speaking about the same, he says, “When we made Maanagaram, we were aiming to get critical acclaim. But the magnitude of the commercial success of the film took us by surprise. The entire team dedicated their life and put in their best work.”

Sundeep has been keeping quite busy these days. The Yaaruda Mahesh actor has recently collaborated with Thiru for a project. Taking about his camaraderie with Thiru, Sundeep says, “We have been friends for a long time and this film has a quirky concept. It needs a lot of time, so I will be finishing my projects in Tamil and Telugu and devote my time for Thiru’s film.” He will also be seen in Suseenthiran’s Aramm Seidhu Pazhagu, which is an energy-loaded bilingual family drama.
