Suriya accepts Mammootty’s challenge

After Vijay, Suriya is the latest to accept Mammootty’s My Tree Challenge. It seems that after the ice bucket challenge, My Tree Challenge is the latest to engage Kollywood actors. Vijay, who accepted Mammootty’s challenge, is all set to plant 25,000 saplings. Suriya after accepting the challenge planted a coconut tree.

"He said that planting trees is close to his heart as afforestation is essential for a clean and green world," says a close source to the actor. Not only this, the Ghajini actor has also nominated three big names for this challenge.

"He has nominated Aamir Khan, Mahesh Babu and Sudeep," states the source. Suriya after nominating each celebrity from Bollywood, Tollywood and Sandalwood asks his fans to extend this noble cause by taking up the challenge.
